Dr Barnabas Bako has extensive expertise in interventional and vascular radiology, having two fellowships in Interventional Radiology, one at Monash Medical Centre, Victoria and the other with The Canberra Hospital, ACT. Barnabas has been a Visiting Medical Officer at Central and Eastern Breast Screen and VMO Interventional Radiologist at The Canberra Hospital. He has wide general experience and takes a special interest in Dental Radiology.
Barnabas has Level 2 certification in CT Coronary Cardiology and has been a Member of the North American Society of Cardiac Imaging since 2004. He is responsible for the group intervention protocol and is often called upon to do the impossible in relation to interventional procedures. Barnabas has over many years presented at the Annual Vascular Meeting for the Society of Vascular Surgeons.
