Before your test

Before your test, you must tell our staff if you:

  • are pregnant, or if there is any chance you may be pregnant.
  • have ever had a reaction to a previous injection of contrast media
  • are allergic to any prescribed medication
    suffer from asthma, glaucoma or kidney disease
  • are living with diabetes
  • are on Warfarin.

FAQS

Do I need to make an appointment?

If you need a general x-ray, no appointment is necessary. However, you’ll need to make an appointment for all other medical imaging tests or procedures. You can book by calling your local Vision XRAY Group practice or completing the online booking form.

Do I need a referral for my appointment?

Vision XRAY Group offers comprehensive services in each local practice, including general x-ray, fluoroscopy, multi-slice CT scan, ultrasound, MRI scan, nuclear medicine, dental x-ray and cone beam CT, mammography and bone densitometry.
